PRF EZ Gel & PDGF+ Pre-Care Instructions

Preparing properly before your regenerative injectable treatment helps reduce side effects, improve comfort, and maximize your overall results. Please follow these guidelines leading up to your appointment:

72 hours prior to your appointment

Avoid using exfoliants and retinoids, as these can make your skin more sensitive and increase the risk of irritation.

Stop taking ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, vitamin E, and fish oil supplements, since these thin the blood and may increase the likelihood of bruising or swelling.

48 hours prior to your appointment

Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking, as both can impair healing and increase inflammation, making recovery more difficult.

Day of appointment

Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face to reduce the chance of bacteria entering the injection sites.

Eat a healthy meal beforehand and stay fully hydrated, as this helps your body respond better to the treatment and improves comfort during your appointment.

PRF EZ Gel & PDGF+ Post-Care Instructions

Following the right aftercare steps is essential for reducing side effects, protecting your results, and helping your skin heal properly. Please review the guidelines below:

Immediately after your appointment

Do not touch or rub the treated area for at least 8 hours. This prevents bacteria from entering the skin and reduces the risk of irritation or infection.

48 hours after your appointment

Avoid exercise, strenuous activity, and anything that causes excessive sweating, as these can increase swelling and bruising.

Limit sun exposure and always wear SPF 45 or higher, reapplying every 2 hours. Protecting your skin from UV damage ensures better healing and long-lasting results.

2 weeks after your appointment

Do not schedule any additional aesthetic treatments in the treated area for at least two weeks. Services such as facials, massages, or other procedures could interfere with healing and may cause the injectables to shift or migrate.

General Upkeep

Mild redness, swelling, bruising, or tenderness is normal after treatment. Apply a cold compress for up to 10 minutes at a time to ease discomfort, and take Tylenol every 4–6 hours as needed for relief.

Keep your skin clean and hydrated by washing gently with a mild cleanser and lukewarm water. Moisturizing products are recommended to support healing and comfort.
